Michaela Rusch

Michaela Rusch, MS, LPSC, LPC

I am continually inspired by the strength and resilience my clients bring to therapy. My goal is to help individuals move through life’s challenges with confidence, clarity, and a deeper connection to their authentic self.

Using a compassionate and holistic approach, I aim to provide my clients with practical tools and ongoing support to foster healing and growth, all in a safe and supportive space. Drawing on my experience as both a clinical therapist and school counselor, I work with teens (16+), young adults, and adults. I also offer Brainspotting, a specialized trauma and emotional processing tool similar to EMDR, for clients seeking deeper work in their therapeutic journey.

My areas of specialty include anxiety and stress management, PTSD and trauma recovery, life transitions, identity development, chronic health challenges, sports performance, and women’s mental health.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, being outdoors, practicing yoga, watching movies, playing volleyball, and spending time with loved ones. I also have a deep appreciation for the arts and feel especially inspired by live performances like musicals and ballet. These activities bring joy, balance, and renewed energy to the work I do as a therapist.

*I am accepting new clients!

My Background

Experience

My career began in school-based counseling, where I worked with middle and high school students on social-emotional wellness, academic support, and life transitions. I later transitioned into outpatient work and have spent the past several years in group practice settings like Orenda, specializing in trauma, anxiety, and women’s mental health. I’m passionate about providing compassionate care in the outpatient setting and have experience working with teens, young adults, and adults through both in-person and telehealth sessions.
