Claire Maas, MSW, LCSW
I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative and grounded in a strong therapeutic relationship. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood and can work toward meaningful growth and healing.
Using a collaborative approach, I strive to challenge my clients in ways to help them face fears, overcome avoidance, and increase self-acceptance. Within my practice, I provide a non-judgmental, empathetic space for clients to feel ready to work through challenges. I specialize in assisting clients aged 15+ to heal from body image concerns, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, and other mental health concerns.
I obtained my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. I utilize multiple approaches that best fit individual needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our daughter. I enjoy cooking, reading thriller novels, practicing yoga and spending time outdoors! My favorite outdoor activities are hiking new areas and kayaking in the mountains.
I am excited to get to know you and work together on your therapeutic journey!
*I am accepting new in-person and virtual clients!
My Background
Experience
I’ve held roles working at higher levels of care such as IOP, PHP, and residential treatment centers in the Fox Valley and Milwaukee before joining a large group practice in the Milwaukee area. I am eager to continue my outpatient work in a small group practice setting like Orenda.
