Couples Therapy
Relationships naturally change over time. We can help you reconnect!Let’s get to the core of your issues
Stress, life transitions, parenting, mental health concerns, past experiences, and everyday life stressors can all impact the way partners communicate and connect. Over time, you may find yourselves having the same disagreements repeatedly, feeling misunderstood, or becoming more disconnected without knowing how you got there or how to find your way back to one another.
Couples therapy offers a space to slow these patterns down and better understand what is happening beneath the surface. Rather than focusing on who is right or wrong, we help you better understand your relationship dynamics, identify what keeps you feeling stuck, develop healthier ways of communicating and responding to one another, and increase overall relationship connection and happiness.
Our Approach
We have providers trained in The Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), two evidence-based approaches that help couples strengthen communication, deepen emotional connection, and navigate conflict in healthier ways. These approaches focus on increasing understanding and empathy between partners while exploring how each person’s family history, attachment experiences, and relationship patterns shape the way they connect. We also teach folks practical tools to communicate and ask for what they need in their relationship. This work can help reduce blame, create greater compassion, and support meaningful, lasting change.
