Couples Therapy
Relationships naturally change over time.Let’s get to the core of the issues
Stress, life transitions, parenting, mental health concerns, past experiences, and the demands of everyday life can all impact the way partners communicate and connect. Over time, couples may find themselves having the same disagreements repeatedly, feeling misunderstood, or becoming more disconnected without knowing how they got there or how to find their way back to one another.
Couples therapy offers a space to slow these patterns down and better understand what is happening beneath the surface. Rather than focusing on who is right or wrong, we help couples better understand their relationship dynamics, identify what keeps them feeling stuck, develop healthier ways of communicating and responding to one another, and increase overall relationship connection and satisfaction.
Our Approach
We use The Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), two evidence-based approaches that help couples strengthen communication, deepen emotional connection, and navigate conflict in healthier ways. These approaches focus on increasing understanding and empathy between partners while exploring how each person’s family history, attachment experiences, and relationship patterns shape the way they connect. This work can help reduce blame, create greater compassion, and support meaningful, lasting change.
